we are concluding the end of our semester in class and i have not gotten as far as i would have liked. The information i have been following on different sight is inconsistant and doesnt work.I know it is not the make controller because i have tried two of them and they do the same thing. I know the problem is that the software we have is inadequet to run the make controller and mchelper is not working.
I ran into a wall of problems when the codes and comands i was sending would not make it respond. I was unable to run it with the programs and i found that some ports on the controller had continuous power even after manualy earasing the memory the ports should not have power unless i tell them to so they must be getting mixed signal.
If i were to have more time on this project and grt the new program i would be able to make ot do what i wanted.
after this christmas break i would like to imediatly start on making the make controller run stepper motors but i have run into a wall of problems. I am having trouble with the dc motor responding to my controlls and would like to be able to run a stepper motor and have controll but these problems are keeping me from it. i would like tofix these problems imediatly but i am havint trouble and i would like to maybe try the ethernet controlls instead of usb.
I just had succes using this site to run a dc motor!!!!!!!

my overall goal is to use the make controller to run a cnc machine.
I would like to run a mill or cnc lathe with the make controller.
my deadline is to have a final project by january.
I should have most materials and skills to do this project.
I may need some help in using the program for the controller.
I will take documents and video while i do the project.
I will be done when we have a useful product using the make controller.
I will post it on a website for everyone to see.
